Dunn, founder of Mountain View Homes construction company in 1978, Mountain
View Realty in 1986, and the Telstar
Network in 1999, is a decorated Vietnam War Veteran.
He accepted a full athletic scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor
of Arts Degree from
St. John’s
University
in
New York City
. He later received a Master’s Degree MPA – Master of Public
Administration from
Marywood
University
in
Scranton
,
Pennsylvania
.
In
the past 25 years Mr. Dunn has been involved in over 1,500 real estate
transactions and has built over 100 homes – including primary, vacation
and log homes up to 5,000 square feet. He is publisher of the Pocono
Mountains Real Estate Guide, a full color magazine with over 500,000
copies in circulation.
The
Telstar
Network is the integrated web presence of 25 online websites
designed to inform the general public about important issues regarding real
estate, new home construction, health care, legal advice and other pertinent
information. The Telstar Network
also has over 150 domain names in reserve.
Mr.
Dunn serves as a 9 year member on the Board of Education for the Wallenpaupack Area School District,
is currently the Chairman of the Board for the Lake
Wallenpaupack Watershed Management
District, is a 2 time
past President and current Director for the Pike-Wayne
Association of
Realtors, is a 3 time past Chairman of the Board and current
Treasurer for the Wayne-Pike
Chapter of the American Red Cross, is currently 1st Vice
President for the Pike County Builders Assocation,
is a former Chairman of the Board of Supervisors in Greene Township, and is
a member of the Advisory Board for the Pennstar
Bank.
Mr.
Dunn is married to the former Lynda Gunther of
Dix Hills
,
New York
. They have 3 grown children -
Coulby, Matthew and Laura.
